A dining room chandelier illuminates most dining rooms. Whether your taste is traditional, contemporary, or something else altogether it's likely that you'll have a chandelier hanging over your dining room table. A chandelier is often the focal point in a dining room, so it's important to get a dining room chandelier that not only works well with your décor, but that is also the right size.
If it’s all one big room and you want t to look like one large space then I would do alll the same curtains. However if you are trying to divide it into two different rooms then different curtains will help with that, divide the space even further with a different rug for each space. I love indoor/outdoor rugs for kitchens or dining rooms since they’re so easy to clean. Hope that helps!
I love fresh flowers, but I don’t love spending a fortune on them. Our Trader Joe’s sells seeded eucalyptus for $2.99 a bunch and hydrangeas for $5.99 a bunch. I think the roses were a little more expensive at $9.99, but you can see how many I was able to buy at that price! If you don’t have access to a Trader Joe’s near you, check out your local grocery store for floral options. They tend to have beautiful blooms for a fraction of the price of floral shops. Walmart is also a great option. The potted pink hyacinth in the background is from Walmart and was only $5!

Covered my grandmothers 4 dining room chairs perfectly! Great fit and updated a 60 year old family dining room set. Will need to line the the back of chairs because when the light hits the chair you can see through the fabric, but that is easy fix! Love them! Was totally surprised. (the 2 end chairs have arms, so bought set of 6, and will cut the fabric of the 2 extra covers and cover the bottom insert so those chairs will "match")

Hi Molly! Sorry I’m so late getting to your question – I don’t know any “rules” about centerpieces – I’ve used all sorts of shapes and sizes with my rectangular table from something as simple as a round centerpiece like here (https://www.drivenbydecor.com/2015/09/my-2015-fall-home-tour.html) to a central centerpiece flanked by two taller vases of flowers like here (https://www.drivenbydecor.com/2015/12/2015-christmas-home-tour.html). Hope that helps! Happy new year!

In this Miami dining room designed by Sid Bergamin, a bespoke tiled wall offers a graphic, glossy backdrop to a plush, tufted banquette covered in a rosette pattern from Pierre Frey. The dining table and chairs are from Jalan Jalan, and the chair upholstery is Raoul Textiles. The coral prints, a nod to the nearby ocean, are from Jalan Jalan, and the diaphanous drapery fabric is Ralph Lauren.

Now let’s get started.  This is the view standing in the foyer looking into our dining room.  I love the large window, it brings in a lot of natural light.  I designed the curtains to enhance the middle crescent.  I placed a stationary panel to each side of the window on a decorative drapery rod.   I didn’t want to hide the window with drapes or heavy curtains.

Venetian plaster tinted a custom color designer Susan Zises Green calls “lettuce green” echoes a shade found in the 1920s hand-painted ceiling and infuses this historic Palm Beach home with fresh life. The armchairs, upholstered in a Christphoer Hyland fabric, and side chairs, covered in a Clarence House velvet, are antiques. The palm frond table linens are from D. Porthault.
Inspired by the lush landscape just outside the windows (which were salvaged from an old train depot!), the homeowner of this 105-year-old Victorian farmhouse filled the dining room with rustic wood elements and pops of green. The Beech wishbone chairs, which are lacquered in an apple green, pop against the large antique hutch that stores the homeowner's collection of copper Moscow mule mugs and green and white china. A pale pink Oriental rug with subtle hints of sky blue and chartreuse rounds out the mix.
