If it’s all one big room and you want t to look like one large space then I would do alll the same curtains. However if you are trying to divide it into two different rooms then different curtains will help with that, divide the space even further with a different rug for each space. I love indoor/outdoor rugs for kitchens or dining rooms since they’re so easy to clean. Hope that helps!
For rectangular dining tables, ideally allow a minimum of 24″-28″ of table length per person and some additional inches at the corners (how much space is needed at the corners depends upon the table width – more additional space is needed for narrower tables than for wider tables). Always consider the location of the table’s legs/base in determining how many people it will comfortably seat. Also consider the width of your dining chairs – if you have wider than average chairs, the amount of table length per person will need to be greater.

Centuries collide to yield a jewel box of a dining room in this New York City apartment designed by author Maureen Footer. A large Aubusson tapestry from Galerie Perpitch & Bringand visually enlarges the tiny space, and provides old-world contrast to the sleek Saarenin table and Brno chairs from Knoll. The walls are clad with a Lee Jofa silk velvet, and the Louis XV-style chandelier is from Nesle Inc.

From setting the aesthetic of a room to showcasing your own personal taste, wall art offers a way to incorporate yourself into your home decor. Just take a look at this piece for example: Made in the USA by artist Ryan Fowler, this vintage advertisement features a fun picture of a cat with a tall glass of vino, awash in bold hues of green and black. Plus, it comes in a picture frame that arrives ready to hang with wall-mounting hardware included.
Brilliant in both hue and expression, this painting brings a contemporary style with palpable texture to your space like the semiprecious stone, the hues throughout this acrylic painting are beautiful and bright. The various hues throughout this piece are abstractly executed with a painting knife to create both clean and fragmented lines with smooth and raised textures.
The backs of dining room chairs should definitely be taller than the top of the dining table but how much taller is a matter of personal preference.  When dining chairs are lower in height, it feels more modern whereas taller chairs tend to make a room feel more traditional and formal. If you’re using different side and end chairs, your end chairs should be taller than your side chairs.
Coffee. Need we say more? With bold typography and lightly weathered details, this artwork pays tribute to our favorite beverage on any wall. It’s a perfect pick for displaying alongside French presses and stacked coffee pods and works just as well mounted in your breakfast nook. Made in the USA, this piece is hand-finished and arrives ready to hang. Cream and sugar not included.
